Keith Pollard 2006 paperweight

This very unusual paperweight was made by E K Pollard in 2006. In the centre of the weight is a bubble around which swirl multi- coloured abstract shaped canes with gold leaf in the base. The base is signed "E K Pollard IOW Glass 2006". We bought this weight from Keith during a visit in 2006 to Isle of Wight Glass St Lawrence studio where he worked.

E K Pollard
Keith Pollard was born in Liskeard, Cornwall. Aged 16 he left school & walked into the local glass studio, asked for a job and stayed for 6 years. Keith joined Isle of Wight Glass in March 1983 where he remained until the studio at St Lawrence closed in 2012.
